Euphemia Chukwu is British – Nigerian-born award-winning multi-talented mainstream and Nollywood actress as well as a gospel singer. She is an author and a screenplay writer and has written several children’s books and novels. Her latest published books are Sandra and My Love, My Heart. Euphemia is also the CEO and founder of Fame Star Media, formally known as Fame Star Agency set up in 1995 as acting and modelling agency in the mainstream. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the international magazine Fame Star.

She wrote the script for the movie called The Subterfuge, Poland Break, Time, Sugar Kane and the writer of The TV series ‘My Friend from London’. She is the writer, producer and director of the music video of Can Rely on You, You Are My God, Close Your Eyes and Made Whole. This multi-talented gospel singer/songwriter Euphemia Chukwu was trained as a classical opera singer from an early age and has been writing songs from the age of 12. She presents a soul stirring vocalization and thought-provoking lyrics firmly rooted in the gospel, which today has lifted audiences with her smooth gifted unique vocals. She once presented her own radio show called ‘The Mia C Keeping It Real Show’ for Africa UK Radio educating the Christian community on accepting themselves for who they are instead of playing hypocrisy the in church.

Euphemia Chukwu is the Social Secretary of Canuk (Central Associations of Nigerians in the United Kingdom, Vice President of the UK Nollywood Producers Guild, Numatville Ambassador as well as the Overseas Project Director of Numatville. She is a heavy promoter and advocate of unity, bringing people together using her company Fame Star Media and Fame Star Magazine to support. She works closely with Faith Abundant Ministry International supporting motherless children. She is passionate about the fight against modern day slavery and human trafficking serving the community using her media company. Euphemia has a degree in LLB law with International Relation and MSc Health and Social Care Management and Policy.

Her starring roles are Gold Dust Ikenga directed by Silver Achugamonye and produced by MA Benson where she played a lead role with award winning actor Van Vicker a Ghanaian Movie Superstar and Nigerian Superstar Charles Awurum.  Other films and TV series she starred in are: Silhouette, Late, Broken Image, A Birthday to remember and the TV series My Friend from London, Lads in the City and appeared in two episodes of Telephone to Heaven. At 15 years old, she enrolled into Sylvia Young Theatre School London. In the mainstream, she started off as an extra in major movie and T.V Series, such as “Judge Dredd” with Sylvester Stallone and “To play the King” with Michael Kitchen. She was a member of the theatre group called “Compete with your feet” a musical performed at Stratford Royal Theatre in London. Euphemia Chukwu was the role model of the week with Afripoet publication UK and has appeared in many UK magazines and TV and radio interviews.

 Awards

Euphemia was nominated and won the Vigor Awards International Canada 2016, won Award of Excellence by Magic Lens Africa Film Academy Awards Nigeria 2016, won the DBE Music Awards 2017 for the best female gospel Acts. She was also nominated for the Panache Global Entertainment Limited UK for leadership and singing and nominated for African Film Awards 2016 and 2017.
