HELEN ADENIKE OSABUTEY aka HELEN GOLD:
Helen Adenike Osabutey nee Akeju hails from Ondo State of Nigeria. She started acting as a child with and encouraged by her elder sister Toyin, in the village square of her home town Ajowa, during festive periods.
Helen is a writer, producer, screenplay writer, script developer and actress. She began her Nollywood career with the big hit Yoruba movie ‘Ito’ which she wrote and produced in Nigeria

Alaimokan , a Yuroba movie she produced, 18 Carat Mama, a movie which received 18 nominations and won 7 awards, 3 of which she won in the United Kingdom. She is currently working on another movie, with working title ‘’Delia’’, a drama which aims to sensitise the public on issues related to post traumatic depression.
Apart from her productions which she has starred in, she has also starred in other productions such as Shattered Hearts, Shameful Deceit, Mum Dad Meet Sam (currently on Netflix, African Magic and cinemas across Nigeria, Ghana and America), Jacuzzi, Housewives and girlfriends a TV drama series (currently showing on African Magic), Murderer-in-law and A Mother’s Journey.
She is also presently on set filming the movies Help, a movie about domestic abuse on men, More than a Woman, a movie which deals with different life issues faced by women, Rainbow in the Wind – a family drama series, Maids of Dockland – a TV series produced by the Actors’ Guild UK Nollywood, Diva Diva – a TV series, Secrets Untold – a TV series, Sisters In Diaspora – a TV series and many more.
